Silent Trump Voters - A Whiter Shade Beyond the Pale

We made sure the blacks and Latinos skipped the tight election
turned voter suppression 'cross their floor
All the Dems were feeling kinda seasick
but the Trump crowd yelled out for more
The room was humming “lock her up” harder
as the glass ceiling stayed in the way
When we called out for making the wall still higher
the Trump supporters said “make my day”
And so it was that later
as the groper in chief told his tale
that feminist faces, at first just ghostly,
turned a whiter shade of pale
They said, 'There is no reason
and the truth is meaningless, you see.'
But as they protested below Trump Tower
and would not let the winner be
I met one of the sixteen Oklahoma red state Democrats
who were all leaving for Canada or the coasts
and although our eyes were open
they might have just as well've been closed
She said, 'I'm only home on shore leave,'
though in truth she and her sisters forgot to vote Hillary, and now we were all at sea
so I grabbed her by the p-word
and forced her to kiss me or else to hide
saying, 'You must be one of the the closet Trump supporting mermaids
who took Clinton and the pollsters for a ride.'
But she smiled at me so sweet sadly
that my anger straightway died
If music be the food of love
then funny social media posts are its queen
and likewise if behind is really in front
then election dirt in truth is clean
Politics is dirty like a porno movie and seemed to slip straight through to our waists

And so we crash-dived straightway quickly
and attacked each other in the electoral bed
