"Koda"

You met him at a breeder up in Lincolnshire
His eyes were black as coal and his fur was darker than cola,
C O L A cola
When I came home that weekend and I saw him there,
you told me his name came from Brother Bear, so we called him Koda
K O D A Koda ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda

Well I'm not the world's most dog loving guy
But then he worked his charm, though did bite my arm
Oh our Koda ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda

 

Well I'm not dumb but I haven’t a clue
How a dog can be half cocker half poo
Oh my Koda ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda   ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda

We stayed by his side, up and down all night
Back then when his bark was worse than his bite
You picked him up and sat him on your knee
And said little boy I’m glad you came home with me
Well I'm not the world's most dog loving guy
But when I looked into his eyes, I totally fell for my Koda
ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda  ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda
ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda  ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda

 

You put on his lead,
We walked to the Meads,
You gave him a treat,
He got down on his knees.
You looked at him and he at you

Well that's the way that I want it to stay
And I never want that dog to stray, oh my Koda
ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda

Poodles will be Spaniels and Cockers poos
He's a mixed up mutt in a shook up world that’s our Koda
ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda

 

Well I came back from Nottingham just a week before
And I'd never seen such a dog before
But Koda smiled and bit my hand
And I said you’re the alpha male but I am the man

Well I'm not the world's most dog loving man
But I know what I am, and I can still be trained
And so can Koda
ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda  ko-ko-ko-ko-Koda
